CD-2 Coil Driver

The HAECO CD-2 is a two-channel solenoid driver designed for rapid electric valve operation. It was developed to obtain maximum opening and closing speeds while allowing the minimum holding energy, for cool operations of high-powered coils, relays and valves. Each channel is independently triggered, and can drive multiple solenoids, depending on the coil characteristics. The CD-2 will drive DC solenoids up to 120 operations per second continuously, or 160 operations per second in burst mode. The driver can achieve 2ms ON/2ms OFF actuation times. Each channel can be retriggered in as little as 4 milliseconds. The CD-2 can hold solenoids continuously ON with minimal heating.
