Built-In Water Purge VIDEO of this feature Your life as a maintenance professional just got easier with the built-in purge on HAECO's DURO Glue Station! To start the day you simply turn the valve to glue and press the purge button to purge glue through the valve and applicator head. When you're ready to shut down just turn that valve back to water and press the same purge button to flush water through the valve and applicator. It's fast, simple and there is no need to remove any parts!
Fast Top-Down / Bottom-Up Change Over VIDEO of this feature Do your production processes or various jobs require you to change from Top-Down-Gluing to Bottom-Up-Gluing from time to time? Now it is easier than ever to make this change and you won't even need tools. Simply loosen the top and bottom shoes and change them around, it can be done in less than 30 seconds!
Pre-Wired & Color Coded Controls HAECO has now pre-wired and color coded the entire system! This allows you to install the system yourself saving you money on typical installation costs. Once you have mounted the actual hardware you simply match up the colors and plug them in. Extra locations are also included for adding additional accessories such as Glue Inspection and Jam Prevention.
Easy to set Random Length Controls VIDEO of this feature You don't have to measure tabs any more! Setting up different jobs with HAECO's EC-2R Random Length Controller is quick and requires little or no change between jobs - even when running different tab lengths. The operator only sets two measurements: 1) the initial gap not to be glued 2) the trailing gap not to be glued - the system will automatically adjust and glue any tab length between those two points. For example, if your tab is five inches long and you require .25in. gap on both ends with no glue you would set both gaps at .25in. Now you can run any tab length through the glue station and it will always glue the whole tab minus the first .25in. and the last .25in. regardless of the tab length.
Quick Setup for Jumbo Box Runs If you ever manufacture jumbo boxes and require a wider glue stripe you can simply slide on another glue station to achieve a 4in. glue stripe. Just slide on the top and bottom shoes and plug the solenoid, glue, and water lines into the quick disconnects already located on the manifold. This method ensures accurate flow and pressure even at high line speeds.
